Schaeffler, the motion technology company, today announced that Maximilian Fiedler, Chief Financial Officer Asia Pacific, has been appointed as interim Chief Executive Officer, Region Asia Pacific, taking over from Dharmesh Arora, who is leaving to pursue a career opportunity outside Schaeffler.

Maximilian Fiedler brings over fifteen years of industry experience and will maintain his current responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer Asia Pacific. He has been with Schaeffler since 2012 and has held several senior leadership roles, including Head of External Reporting for Schaeffler Group and Chief Financial Officer for Schaeffler Mexico.

Before joining Schaeffler, Maximilian Fiedler was Treasury Manager for HeidelbergCement AG, where amongst others he was responsible for debt capital market projects as well as in-house bank management of the group.

Dharmesh Arora will remain with Schaeffler Group as Regional CEO Asia Pacific until May 31, 2025. Among Dharmesh’s many contributions, we are deeply grateful for his exceptional leadership, driving growth and transforming Schaeffler’s business across the region.
