  • From around the world, experienced cyclists will tackle over 400 km of challenging mountain terrain in June 2026 to support the fight against multiple sclerosis

Schaeffler, the global Motion Technology Company, is pleased to announce the renewal of its sponsorship of Cykelnerven, the Danish cycling event dedicated to raising funds for multiple sclerosis (MS) research. For the third consecutive year, Schaeffler demonstrates its enduring commitment to social responsibility by supporting initiatives that positively impact local communities and contribute to global health challenges.

Cykelnerven challenges passionate cyclists from across the globe to tackle a grueling mountain course spanning over 400 kilometers in the picturesque French Alps, raising vital funds to advance scientific research that aims to improve the lives of those affected by MS.

Fredrik Hesselberg, Managing Director Schaeffler AB & Ewellix AB, comments:
"Our ongoing partnership with Cykelnerven reflects Schaeffler’s firm belief in giving back to the community and championing meaningful causes. We are honored to support this exceptional event that brings together cyclists, families, and local businesses to contribute to a future where multiple sclerosis no longer limits lives."

About Cykelnerven
Cykelnerven is one of Europe’s most demanding and unique charity cycling challenges. Participants dedicate an entire year to fundraising through local events and outreach activities, rallying support from family, friends, colleagues, and businesses. The race takes place over four days in the stunning French Alps, with cyclists covering roughly 40 kilometers each day, totaling around 160 kilometers of intense mountain terrain. Riders face over 10,000 meters of elevation gain and climbs ranging from 5 to 25 percent in gradient.

Held shortly before the Tour de France on the same iconic terrain, Cykelnerven not only tests athletic endurance but also fosters a vibrant community spirit centered on the hope and determination to fund research and eventually find a cure for MS.
